The homeowners were from Colorado and retired in Florida so we transformed this builder home into a Gothic Cottage that you might see in a small mountain town. In every room we added custom woodwork that subtly displays the gothic arch motif. The study and bonus rooms have murphy beds hidden so the large family can sleep here on holidays. There are desks tucked away so the homeowners can work in multiple rooms. The front porch is welcoming and inviting for conversing with neighbors. The small family room can seat 10 or more with the well positioned furniture layout. The master bath has a unique silver travertine surround that complements the new stone floors and shower. Taking a bland builder home and adding beautiful built in furniture, upholstery and stone has created an understated luxurious home to enjoy for many years to come!
