The Curated Project
This fireplace vignette blends bold materiality with sculptural form to create a refined focal point. A marble surround with dramatic veining anchors the wall, its clean geometry contrasted by the intricate patterned backdrop. The layered textures bring depth while maintaining a tailored, modern aesthetic.
Above, a large circular mirror in a warm metallic finish reflects light and surrounding artwork, adding dimension and a subtle sense of drama. Linear sconces flank the mirror, reinforcing symmetry and providing soft ambient illumination. The brass fire screen and accessories echo the metallic tones, creating cohesion throughout the composition.
In the foreground, a sculptural lounge chair introduces organic curves and rich upholstery, softening the architectural lines of the fireplace wall. The result is a thoughtfully curated moment that feels artful, layered, and timeless with a contemporary edge.
