Single-storey kitchen extension
With bi-fold doors, the kitchen space opens out into the garden. The doors also provide a large expanse of glass, which combined with Velux windows in the vaulted ceiling allow the kitchen to be filled with as much natural light as possible throughout the year. Kitchen downlighting provides a clean and sleek finish to this project, whilst also providing crisp illumination.

Single-storey kitchen extension for a family home in Essex. We worked with the client to give them the open-plan living space they wanted, incorporating a top-of-the-range kitchen with a vaulted ceiling and a beautiful glass wall. Through bi-fold doors, the kitchen space opens out into the garden, with the option to completely open the back of the house on to the patio – perfect for entertaining.
